Son of God Movie review

Review and Critique By Justin Peters – March 2014 www.justinpeters.org   Ten years after Mel Gibson’s movie, “The Passion of the Christ,” we have another blockbuster film portraying the second Person of the triune God.  This movie, “Son of God,” shares more in common with its predecessor than simply the main character.  Like “The Passion,”“Son of God” has Roman Catholics (husband and wife team of Mark Burnett and Roma Downey) as its producers and is being enthusiastically embraced and promoted by evangelicals.
